The KOOLUX K7 is a compact electric dirt bike for children, with off-road styling and an iron frame. A 350 W brushless motor drives the rear wheel from a 36 V 5.2 Ah (184 Wh) lithium-ion battery, with a stated range of up to 18 km. Three selectable speed modes limit the bike to 15, 20 or 30 km/h, so young riders can start slowly and progress as their control improves. Front and rear suspension work with 12 x 2.75 inch pneumatic tyres on grass, gravel and firm ground. Braking is by a rear disc brake operated from a handlebar lever. A handlebar LCD display shows basic riding information and the selected mode, and the bike has front and rear lights. The K7 weighs about 20 kg, carries riders up to 65 kg and is intended for children aged 5 and above, riding under adult supervision on private land.
